Description
The granary and cart shed, located adjacent to the farmworkers cottage at Kislingbury Grange, dates from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared ironstone and red brick in Flemish bond, topped with a slate roof. The building features three bays, with the ground floor open to the front, supported by two rows of three slender cast-iron columns that hold up chamfered spine beams. A central plank loft door is flanked by two-bay casement windows, all of which have stop-chamfered wood lintels. This structure is included for its group value.
