Description
Farmworkers Cottage at Kislingbury Grange is an early 19th-century cottage built of red brick in English garden wall bond, featuring a corrugated iron roof that covers a thatch and brick end stacks. The cottage has a two-unit plan and is two stories high with a two-window range. The central plank door is set beneath a stop-chamfered wood lintel and is sheltered by a 19th-century lean-to porch. There are two-light leaded casement windows on both the ground and first floors, each with wood lintels. The eaves are built up briefly above the wall plate to accommodate the thatch covering. To the left, there is a single-storey lean-to extension.
