Description

This headstone, dating from the mid-17th century, is located approximately 8 metres south of the chancel of the Church of Holy Trinity in Hinton-in-the-Hedges. It is made of limestone and features a plaque shaped like a shield, framed by twisted columns. The top of the headstone is adorned with swags and a head. There is a fragment of an inscription that reads "Thomas Davis deceased, second May 1659."
