Description

Brook Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse built from coursed limestone rubble with a slate roof and brick stacks. The building has two storeys and an attic, featuring three bays. The central doorway has an original stop-chamfered lintel and a 20th-century door. The original window openings have wooden lintels with twin chamfers, indicating the position of former mullions, although all windows now have 20th-century casements. The dormers have flat lead roofs and 20th-century casements as well. At the rear, to the right, there is a long single-storey wing from the 18th century, which is said to have housed the dairy.
