Description

This is a fountain located approximately 12 meters south of the garden front of Lamport Hall. It was likely built in the mid-19th century and is made of limestone. The fountain features a large shell bowl resting on a plinth made of tufa, and it is set within a circular basin that has an attached ashlar surround. The fountain is included for its group value with Lamport Hall.
