Description
This is a row of four headstones located approximately 30 meters west of the west door of the nave at the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul. They date from the late 17th century to the 18th century and are made of limestone and ironstone.
The leftmost headstone is partially buried and features an inscription plaque framed by columns, topped with a winged cherub's head and a segmental pediment. The inscription is fragmentary. The second headstone from the left has a round plaque framed by leaf scrolls and topped with a head, but the weathered inscription is no longer legible, and the name and date are not visible.
The third headstone from the left has a rectangular plaque framed by drapery and pendants of fruit, surmounted by a winged cherub's head. This headstone is dated 1706, but the name is not visible. The rightmost headstone has a shield-shaped plaque framed by draperies and topped with a winged head. Its inscription is also weathered, with no name or date visible. Overall, the headstones are in poor condition and leaning at a 45-degree angle.
