Description

The Yews is a mid-18th century house located on the south side of Frog Lane in Upper Boddington. It is constructed of regular coursed lias stone with a concrete tile roof. Originally designed with a two-unit plan, the house is two storeys high with an attic. The front facade features a one-window range of 19th-century casement windows with glazing bars on the first floor, and a canted bay with glazing bars on the ground floor. A two-light cellar window with bars is located to the left, covered by a wooden lintel. Ashlar gable parapets and kneelers are present, along with brick and stone stacks at each end. The left gable displays four sashes with glazing bars, also positioned under wooden lintels. A 19th-century brick and stone extension is attached to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
