The cottage is two storeys high with an attic and features a three-window range. The central entrance has a 20th-century plank door with a timber lintel that extends over a small one-light window to the left. There are three-light 20th-century casement windows with timber lintels on the ground and first floors to the left and right, and a two-light casement window with a timber lintel above the door. To the right, there is a 20th-century extension. The left gable end has a three-light casement window with a timber lintel on both the ground and first floors, and a two-light attic window with a timber lintel. Above the entrance, there is a datestone inscribed with M/HE/1708. The cottage also features quoins, stone coped gables with kneelers, and 20th-century roof lights.
