Description
No 2 Bridge Street is an 18th-century building that may have an earlier core. It is two stories high and constructed of colour-washed ashlar. The front features a prominent centerpiece that breaks forward, topped with a pediment and a semi-circular lunette. On the first floor, there is a Venetian window, and a band runs along the first floor with a cornice beneath the pediment. The building has brick stacks and a stone slate roof.
On the north side, there is an 18th-century sash window on the first floor, while the ground floor has a shop front. On the south side of the centerpiece, there is another 18th-century sash window on the first floor, and below it, a modern three-sided bay window with sashes on the ground floor. The roof on this side is tiled. The rear of the building is finished in stucco and has a Welsh slate roof.
