Description

No. 17 Croughton Road is a cottage dating from around 1800. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with a slate roof and a central brick stack. The cottage is two storeys high and has two bays. A doorway in the left bay has a wood lintel and plank door. To the right of the doorway are two three-light windows with wood lintels and iron casements containing leaded lights. Two similar windows are located on the first floor. The interior of the cottage has not been inspected. Group value is present in the context of other buildings in the area.
