Description

The dovecote, now functioning as an outbuilding, dates from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of regularly coursed limestone with a lias ashlar facade and features a plain-tile roof. The building has a square plan and stands two storeys tall, topped with a pyramid roof that is surmounted by a glover and a weather vane. The left and right elevations have leaded casements set under wooden lintels. Inside, the first floor contains nesting boxes.
