Description

This wall, located approximately 1 metre east of the Porters Lodge, dates from around 1841 and is likely the work of architect John Crake for the Brudenell family of Deene Hall. Constructed from limestone ashlar, it is a low wall featuring tall octagonal piers. This structure is part of the gatearch layout that includes the Porter's Lodge and an attached wall.
