Description

This listing describes a pair of gatepiers, a wall, and a gate located approximately 14 meters west of Number 42, the Main Lodge of Dingley Hall. The structures date from the 18th century and are made of rusticated limestone ashlar. The gatepiers feature cornices and are connected by a low wall. There is a 19th-century cast iron gate attached to the left gatepier. This pair of gatepiers, wall, and gate is included for its group value with another similar set located about 16 meters to the west of the Main Lodge.
