Description
Parkers Patch is a house dating from the mid-17th century, with 19th and 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a plain tile roof from the 19th century. The original layout was a two-unit plan positioned at right angles to the road. The gable end facing the road has a 17th-century six-light square bay window with stone mullions and hipped coping, along with ashlar gable parapets. The left elevation includes a two-window range of 20th-century reconstituted stone mullion windows. The gable on the right has an ashlar and brick stack at its apex. There is a 19th-century one-bay extension to the left, which has a similar window and a 20th-century door. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is noted to contain a 17th-century fireplace with a four-centred arch head. The building is included for its group value.
