NORTH STREET (East side) No 22 and Laundimer House

GV II Consists of several separate adjoining buildings. The first, adjoining No 20, is a simple small early C18 house of two storeys with steep stone slate roof. Two windows to first floor, hung sashes with glazing bars in moulded wooden cases, stone lintels. Ground floor has doorway roughly central with shallow bowed window to the right and an old shop window with wooden pilasters and entablature the other side. Door of six panels with rectangular fanlight of four panes.

Laundimer House is an early-mid C19 house of three storeys in coursed stone with hipped Welsh slate roof with eaves cornice. Platbands between the storeys, slight plinth. Five windows on top floor over four, hung sashes with glazing bars in plain reveals, flat arched heads and plain sills. Central entrance doorcase, pilasters and entablature and deep reveals, rectangular fanlight. Double doors approached by steps. Mid C19 extensions to right of three storeys with five and two windows, stone rusticated surrounds, mainly hung sashes with glazing bars. Small plinth.

All the listed buildings on the east side of North Street form a group.
