Description
The orangery and attached game larder, located approximately 20 metres southwest of Bulwick Hall, date from the early 19th century. They are constructed of squared coursed limestone with an ashlar facade and feature a slate and part-glazed roof. The structure consists of two rectangular units arranged in a double depth plan and is a single storey. The main front has five bays, highlighted by a tall central glazed door and tall flanking sash windows, all of which have glazing bars and plain ashlar surrounds. The gabled roof is set behind a plain ashlar parapet. The unit attached to the rear of the orangery serves as the game larder and includes a central doorway with flanking casement openings. The interior of the game larder still retains some game hooks.
