Description
The Lodge House is a lodge house with origins in the 17th century, altered in the 19th century. It is constructed from squared coursed limestone and features a Collyweston slate roof. The building was likely originally designed as a single-unit plan and stands two storeys tall. The front has a two-window range of 19th-century casement windows with wooden lintels on the first floor, while the ground floor features a three-light stone mullion window. The gable ends are adorned with ashlar gable parapets and there is a large ashlar stack at one end. The right gable includes two single-light windows with stone surrounds, one of which is now blocked. At the rear, there is a 19th-century single-storey extension that includes an entrance porch.
