Description

The kitchen garden wall, located approximately 50 meters southwest of Gardener's Cottage, is a structure that likely dates back to around 1676 when the gardens were laid out for James Tryon. The walls themselves are from the 18th century but have been restored in the 19th and 20th centuries. They are made of red brick and feature a brick header coping, enclosing two sides of the kitchen garden.
