Description
The Old Rectory is a rectory that has been converted into a house, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of ashlar stone with a Welsh slate roof and features a double depth plan in the Regency style. The entrance front has three bays, with a central 20th-century door that is framed by an arch-headed moulded stone surround. The sash windows, which have glazing bars and stone lintels, decrease in size at the first floor. To the right, there is a large semi-circular bay with two sash windows. The roof is shallow and hipped, with ashlar stacks at the ridge. The garden front, which is to the left, consists of four bays that mirror the entrance front. A large late 19th-century canted bay with sash windows occupies the ground floor of the two bays to the right. The interior has not been inspected.
