Description
Northfields is a pair of houses, now functioning as a single dwelling, dating from 1832 and the mid-19th century. The building is constructed of squared coursed limestone and features a Collyweston slate roof. Originally, each house had a one-unit plan, with a mid-19th century lean-to extension added to the rear. The structure stands three storeys tall and has a two-window range of 19th-century casements set beneath shallow stone arches. A central 20th-century porch features a four-panel, part-glazed door, also under a shallow stone arch, with a blacked doorway to the right. There is a raised band between the ground and first floors, and brick stacks are located at both ends. The rear includes a two-storey lean-to extension. The interior has not been inspected.
