Description
A house, dating from the mid-18th century, now divided into two separate dwellings. The building is constructed of squared coursed limestone with a Collyweston slate roof and sections of 20th-century plain tile. Originally designed as a two-unit structure, it is two storeys high with an attic. The front has a two-window arrangement with sash windows, each with a gauged stone head; the windows in number 11 have glazing bars. A pair of panelled doors is situated in the centre, one being part-glazed, both beneath rendered arches. Flat-topped roof dormers are visible. The building features ashlar gable parapets and ashlar stacks with moulded cornices at each end. An illegible datestone is positioned above the doors. Later 18th and 19th-century extensions have been added to the rear. The interior of number 13 includes an open fireplace with a bressumer and stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops. The rear of number 13 was formerly used as a bakehouse.
