Description
Dale Farmhouse is a farmhouse, now a house, dating from the mid-18th century. It is built of squared coursed ironstone with limestone dressings and has a Collyweston slate roof. The original layout was a two-unit plan, and the building has two storeys. The main front features a three-window range of 19th-century sash windows with glazing bars on the first floor, all set under gauged stone heads. To the left, there is a 19th-century canted wood bay window. The central entrance has a 20th-century door. The gable ends have ashlar parapets and brick stacks. An early 19th-century range is attached to the right side. The rear of the building is similar, with a two-window range that includes sash and wooden cross windows, also under gauged stone heads, and a stone lintel with a keyblock. The central entrance at the rear features a six-panel door beneath a wooden hood. The interior has not been inspected.
