Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 18th century, with early 19th century and mid-20th century additions. It is constructed from squared ironstone with limestone dressings and has Welsh slate roofs. The building features a plinth, rusticated quoins, a first floor band, moulded wood eaves, and coped gables with kneelers. There are two gable and one ridge coped stone stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys plus garrets and has six bays arranged in an L-plan.
The west front has an off-centre full height 6/9 sash window that replaces the door, along with five similar sash windows. Above these, there are six smaller 6/6 sash windows. The north gable features a similar sash window above and a blank window, while the south gable has two blank windows. All these openings have projecting stone surrounds with keystones. In each gable peak, there are two round windows, with the ones on the south being blank. The rear of the farmhouse includes a large late 20th century gabled porch in the return angle and has irregular fenestration with 20th century glazing bar casements.
