Description
75 and 77 High Street is a house that has been converted into an office. It features a datestone from 1609 with the initials RA. The building is constructed from regular coursed limestone and has a thatched roof. It has a three-unit plan and was originally two storeys high. The front has a three-window range of part leaded casements, which are set under wooden lintels. The centre window on the first floor has a moulded stone surround and is located in a stone eaves dormer. To the left of the centre, there is a 20th-century panelled door also under a wooden lintel. The building has ashlar gable parapets and kneelers, along with ashlar stacks, one of which features a moulded cornice at the ridge and end. The datestone is positioned in the apex of the dormer. The interior was remodelled in the 20th century.
