Description
The Coach House, originally listed as Pipewell Hall Coach House/Stables, is a coach house and stables that has been converted into a house. It dates from the early 19th century and features a front made of squared coursed limestone, with coursed rubble on the sides and rear. The building has a slate roof and stone and brick stacks at the rear. It is two storeys high and has a four-window range. The central gable is coped and sits on kneelers, featuring a blind roundel. There is an octagonal white-painted wooden cupola with an ogee cap and weathervane.
On the ground floor, there is a door with a stone lintel, two 2-light windows with segmental stone heads, another door with a stone lintel, a similar window, and two carriage entrances with segmental heads and double doors. The first floor has four 2-light windows. All doors and windows are from the 20th century. The interior has not been inspected.
