Description
This is a traditional timber-framed barn dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, located to the east of Lower Bottom Farm House. It is built on a brick plinth with weatherboarded walls and a tiled roof. The barn features outshots on the north side that continue under the roof. On the south side, there is one full-height cart door. Inside, the barn has six bays with jowled posts and curved braces supporting tie beams, which carry vertical queen struts to collars. At the north end, there is a pigeon loft. The south end includes a lower wing made of brick, flint, and weatherboarding.
