Description

This property comprises a pair of houses with a former cottage attached to the north, dating from the early 19th century. The houses are constructed of brick and have a slate roof, boarded eaves, and brick chimneys rising from the gable ends and center. They are two storeys high with a four-bay double-fronted design. Each house features four-pane sash windows, with rendered and painted voussoir heads. The entrances are through six-panelled doors set back within plain reveals, each with a wooden doorcase featuring a flat hood supported by cut brackets, and segmental pilaster strips to the jambs and a frieze panel. The cottage is of whitewashed brick with a rendered plinth, pilaster strips to the sides, and a central door surround. It has a slate roof, a brick chimney to the left, and is one storey high. The left bay of the cottage contains a four-pane sash window within a moulded architrave. The right bay has the upper part of a sash window above a 20th-century garage entry. A central four-panelled door is complemented by a rectangular fanlight and a blind semi-circular panel above, all within a plain surround and arched hood mould.
