Description

This is a mid-18th century house, significantly repointed and renovated in the 20th century. The house is constructed of red and vitreous brick with a plinth on a rubble stone base, and features a moulded modillion eaves cornice. The right side of the building has a pebbledashed finish. It has a steeply pitched slate roof and brick chimneys marking the original bays. The building is two storeys high and originally comprised two 18th-century bays to the left and one 19th-century bay to the right. Windows are modern wooden casements; the left-hand bays have three-light casements within segmental stone-keyed heads on the ground floor and two-light casements above. The upper right-hand bay has a three-light casement, while the ground floor has a lean-to extension across part of the central bay, containing a 20th-century door to the left and a pair of casements to the right. Modern extensions are present at the rear. A blank date stone is positioned between the upper left-hand windows.
