Description

Hintons is a house dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of whitewashed brick with timber framing in the gables and on the first floor, topped with thatch eyebrows. The roof is half-hipped and thatched, with a brick chimney stack positioned to the left of the center. The house is one-and-a-half storeys tall and features three bays, each slightly projecting from the one to the left. The ground floor has paired barred casements with timber lintels, while the first floor has paired leaded casements. There is an entry with a modern gabled porch to the left of the central bay, and to the right, there is a single casement window set under a cambered head. At the rear, there is a two-storey wing that is at right angles to the main structure, featuring barred 20th-century casements.
