Description
The barn at Bagmoor is a late 18th-century structure featuring a combination of flint and brick base walls with timber framing and weatherboarding above. It has an old tiled roof and consists of a four-bay barn with a cross wing and a cartshed at the northern end. The barn is aisled on the west side and includes off-centre cart doors that are gabled to the west. It has elbowed principal trusses, small braces to the ties and aisle plate, and single purlins. The cross wing and cartshed are later additions; the cartshed has flint and brick rear walls, a half-hipped roof, and four bays, one of which is weatherboarded. This barn is included for its group value.
