Description
Bagmoor is a house built around 1780, featuring a slightly later lean-to at the rear. The exterior is constructed of knapped flint with gauged brick quoins and surrounds around the openings. It has dentil eaves with a course of blue headers below, an old tile roof, and flanking brick chimneys. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. The windows are paired wooden casements with pointed arched heads, Y tracery, and glazing bars, all set within bonded brick surrounds. The central entrance features an arched board door with top lights. The lean-to at the rear includes matching casements and a door in plain brick surrounds at the right end. Inside, there is a stone surround to a large fireplace with a depressed arch and keyblock, as well as a staircase with stick balusters.
