Description
The Forelands is a building dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is constructed of red and grey brick and features a hipped tiled roof. The building has two storeys and includes a first-floor band and a coved cornice. On the southeast elevation, there are four flush sash windows with glazing bars, which are set under cambered relieving arches. There is a late 19th century or early 20th century bay window on the left side of the ground floor. The door on the northwest elevation is framed by reeded Doric pilasters and has an entablature adorned with paterae and a dentil cornice. Additionally, there is a single-storey wing on the northwest side that is at right angles to the main structure and features three sash windows.
