Description
Anne's Cottage is an 18th century or earlier building, altered over time. It is constructed of flint rubble and red brick, with an old tiled roof. The main two-storey section features a corbelled cornice and two flush sash windows with glazing bars, set within cambered arches. A modern red brick wall forms the north-west side elevation. A lower, south-east wing, now cement rendered, incorporates a casement window with glazing bars. Further south-east is a single-storey wing of red brick and old tiles, with two casement windows with glazing bars. The cottage is a good example of vernacular building practices.
