Description

This is a row of cottages dating to the 16th and early 17th centuries, that has been altered over time. The upper floors are timber-framed with brick infill, while the ground floor was originally recessed but was built out in the 18th century to be flush with the first floor, and is constructed of brick. The roof is tiled, with a colourwash applied to the front brickwork. The building is in an 'L' shape, with number 76 facing a new footpath. A single-storey and attic wing is on the left side of number 66, featuring a gabled dormer window. Eight casement windows face the road in the main block. Numbers 66 and 70 to 76 (even) form a group and have collective group value.
