Description

Manor Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. The right bay and the ground floor of the center bay are constructed from red brick featuring a blue brick diaper pattern, a moulded plinth, and a plain band course at the first floor level. The right bay has moulded eaves, while the left bay and the first floor of the center bay have been rebuilt or extended in red brick with offset eaves. The house has a tiled roof and a brick chimney situated between the right bays.

It stands two storeys high with an attic and consists of three bays. The right bay includes three-light casements, with barred wooden windows on the ground floor and leaded windows on the first floor. The center bay features a four-light barred wooden casement on the ground floor and a similar two-light casement above. The left bay has a small horizontal sliding sash window above a single-storey gabled projection, which has a four-pane sash window on the right side and a lean-to on the left.

A gabled porch, located between the right bays, is made of chequer brick and has round windows on the sides and render on the front. Above the porch is a blocked round window. The entrance features a six-panelled door with top lighting, framed by an early 19th-century doorcase that includes fluted pilaster strips, a lozenge panel frieze, and a cornice hood supported by cut brackets. To the left, there is a lower 19th-century extension with dentilled eaves. The right gable is rendered and whitewashed, featuring paired leaded casements in the attic.
