Description

The Olde Manor, formerly known as the Stable Block of the former Manor House, is now divided into two houses. It was built in the early 18th century and altered in the 20th century. The building is constructed of red and vitreous brick, featuring red brick quoins, surrounds to openings, and moulded eaves, along with a moulded plinth. The ground floor openings have gauged-brick heads and moulded stone or concrete window sills. The roof is hipped and covered with old tiles, supported by two brick chimneys.

The structure has a Z-plan layout and consists of two storeys. The southern range has six bays, while the eastern range has eight bays. The windows are primarily 20th-century wooden casements, with paired casements on the first floor and cross casements on the ground floor. Some windows are blind or blocked. The southern range features a 20th-century barred and glazed door with a rectangular fanlight in the third bay, with this door and the window to the left set in blocked arches of gauged brick with stone keyblocks. The eastern range includes 20th-century double panelled doors with a fanlight in the fourth bay and a central weatherboarded bay at the rear. An attached single-storey range at the southeast corner has three bays of similar brickwork with paired 20th-century casements.
