Description
Dairy Farmhouse is a house dated 1800, as indicated by a marking on the brick by the front door. It features chequer brickwork with tuck pointing, a moulded brick plinth, and dentil eaves. The left gable is whitewashed, while the right gable is rendered and whitewashed. The roof is hipped and covered with old tiles, with a brick chimney located to the right of the ridge. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. It includes 19th-century wooden casements, with three-light windows flanking a two-light window, and the ground floor windows have cambered heads. The central entrance has a flush-panelled door that is top-lit and set within an architrave frame, topped with a small cornice hood supported by brackets. There is a cast iron boot-scraper set into the wall to the right of the door, as well as a fire insurance plaque.
