Description
Nos 73 to 77 on Bicester Road are a row of cottages from the 17th and 18th centuries that have been altered over time. They are two storeys high and set back from the street. No 73 features a left section made of rubble stone with one blocked opening and a 2-light casement window above. The right section is timber-framed, with a modern door, a 3-light casement window, and a 2-light casement window on the first floor. The roof is thatched, and there is an old brick stack on the right. No 75 is rendered witchert with tiles, featuring a modern door, a 3-light casement window on the right, a one-light window on the left, and a 2-light casement window on the first floor, along with a modern one-light window on the left. It has recent diamond leaded glazing. No 77 is also rendered witchert with a thatched roof. This cottage was formerly two separate cottages and still has two ledged doors and small outer windows. There are two 3-light casements between which one has old leaded glazing, and two 2-light casements on the first floor.
