Description

The Old Vicarage Cottage is a 16th-century timber-frame building with plaster infilling on a colour-washed rubble stone base. It is located on Carters Lane in Long Crendon. Originally listed as No 2 (Old Vicarage Cottage) and previously known as the Old Vicarage, the building has two storeys. It features a thatched roof, half-hipped on the left side. The front has two two-light casement windows and a modern door on the right, with two further two-light casements set into the thatch. A small, thatched lean-to is located on the right. Chimney stacks are present on the gable ends. The rear of the building also has timber framing and retains one original small oak-mullioned window with two lights.
