Description

Shepherd's Cottage is a small squatter cottage dating to approximately 1800, with renovations carried out in the late 1970s. The building is constructed of mud, timber, and brick, all colourwashed, and has a thatched roof with a brick chimney on its left side. It is a single-storey structure with an attic, comprising two small bays. The ground floor features leaded casements, with a two-light window to the left and a single light window to the right, and a 20th-century door set within a thatched porch. A two-light, barred wooden casement is positioned in the right gable, sheltered by a rustic thatched roof structure. A 20th-century single-storey extension, also of colourwashed brick and with a slate roof, is attached to the left.
