Description

Nos 45 to 49 on High Street are 18th-century houses that have been altered. They are two storeys tall with an attic and feature painted render. The building has a moulded and bracketed cornice that is broken around two angular bays on the first floor, located on the right side of the front. There are two additional windows on the first floor. On the left side, there is a modern shop front, while the right side has a late 19th-century shop front. The roof is covered with old tiles. Nos 41 to 49 and the Chequers Hotel form a group.
