Description

The Kennels is a former smithy that has been converted into a cottage, dating from the 18th century. It features chequered brickwork and a hipped tiled roof, and stands two storeys tall. The right-hand bay includes a cambered arch over a carriage entry, with a pair of casement windows above. The rest of the building has a central lobby entry with a trellis porch, flanked by paired casements that have cambered arches on the ground floor. There are single-storey lean-to extensions at both ends of the structure.
