Description
5 and 7 Walton Terrace are late 18th-century houses that stand two storeys high with a basement. They are finished in stucco and feature a projecting plinth and a moulded eaves cornice, topped with an old tile roof. Each house has two windows on the first floor and two windows on the ground floor, with a central six-panelled door that is recessed within panelled reveals, featuring a reeded surround and a flat moulded cornice hood. The basement windows are three-light casements. Each door is accessed by a flight of stone steps, which are adorned with 19th-century cast iron balustrades. The door of No 7 has shaped panels. Both houses are fitted with Venetian shutters on the ground floor windows, and No 7 also has similar shutters on its first-floor windows. All the listed buildings in Walton Terrace form a group.
