Description
9 Walton Terrace is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall and is finished in stucco with a flat moulded eaves and a slate roof. The second floor features four panels, while the first floor has three windows and one blocked window. The ground floor has three three-light sash windows, with the leftmost window having a later central door added. There is a six-panelled door located in the second bay from the right, set in a recess with panelled reveals and soffit, and surrounded by a moulded architrave.
A wooden verandah spans the ground floor, supported by slender square, panelled columns with moulded caps. Between these columns are three centred arches with flat spandrels, and the balustrading consists of thin square bars. The verandah has a concave lead roof and is accessed by five steps at each end. To the right of the main building is a two-storey stable extension, also in stucco, featuring a three-centre arched entrance on the ground floor and a three-light window above it in a three-centred arched recess.
All the buildings in Walton Terrace are part of a group value context.
