Description

Tingewick Mill on the River Ouse is an 18th-century mill complex, altered and repaired in 1858. It comprises a mill range with a house attached to the right. The mill is constructed of rubble stone with cambered brick arches over its openings, and some brick restoration is visible. The tiled roof is hipped on the right-hand side and half-hipped on the left.

The house section has two storeys and two bays, with modern casement windows and a glazed door to the left. The mill itself has three bays. The left-hand bay features a wheel opening. The right-hand bay has a boarded door to the ground floor, glazed double doors with a balcony above, and a casement window in a dormer. The central bay exhibits irregular casement windows. The mill wheel and spindle remain in working order, and most of the other original machinery is still present on the site.
