Description
Durrants is a building from the 16th century that has been altered over time. It features an original timber frame with plaster infill on the ground floor, while the upper frame is modern. The roof is made of modern pantiles and has a gabled design facing the street, complete with waved bargeboards. The building is two stories tall. The gable end reveals the original truss, and there is an angled bay with a moulded cornice and sash windows on the ground floor, along with a 2-light leaded casement window above. On the west side, there are three bays with paired modern casements, and a 3-light window on the first floor of the left-hand bay. A door is located to the right of the left-hand bay, while the right-hand ground floor bays are obscured by a modern lean-to extension.
