Description
Bridge House is a mid-19th century building of three bays and three storeys located on the High Street in Chalfont St Peter. The building is constructed of yellow stock brick with a stucco cornice and pilasters, and features channelled rustication to the ground floor. It has recessed barred sash windows, with the first-floor windows set within arched recesses, architraved to all bays except the central one. Modern shop fronts occupy the ground floor. A left-hand door retains original channelled rustication. A two-storey, one-bay wing adjoins the main block on the left-hand side. The roof is hipped and covered with slate.
