Description

The churchyard of St Peter features gates and railings dating from around 1800. The entrance includes cast-iron lattice work gate piers and spear head finial gates, with a double gate on the left and a pedestrian gate on the right. Sloping railings extend on either side to a lower brick wall. The gate piers are topped with open acanthus motifs in semi-circular heads.
