Description

A row of four houses dating from the mid-19th century, located in Fingest and Lane End. The houses are constructed of unknapped flint with brick dressings and decorative flint and brick diapers. They have tiled roofs and brick chimneys with offset caps positioned centrally and between the right bays. The houses are arranged over two storeys and six bays, with each bay gabled facing the front. The outer houses are two bays wide, while the central cottages are one bay wide. They feature barred metal casement windows; these are two- and three-light on the ground floor, and two-light on the first floor. There are four 20th-century doors set within 20th-century gabled porches, with entry to number 32 provided on the right-hand side. All window and door openings are framed by bonded brick surrounds.
