Description

Hinton House is an 18th-century building on the south side of Amersham High Street. It is constructed of red brick with an old tiled roof, featuring three sash box dormers and a parapet with a moulded brick cornice. The two-storey and attic structure has five sash windows, set in reveals with gauged brick flat arches and projecting cills. The central entrance is a six-panel door within a wooden surround, featuring architraves and a pedimented cornice supported by enriched console brackets.
